Greetings in Jesus!

So, here we are in September already! Is it just me, or does each month seem to go by faster than the one before?

Believe it or not, it was on August 15th I saw a few snow flakes falling up here!

Let me first start out the only way I can by saying, THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH to those of you who help keep this radio ministry going through your prayers and gifts of support in this late hour! I feel so privileged to be a servant of the Lord as a watchman for the Church and even more amazed that I am the last ex-Mormon on Christian radio with his own daily radio broadcast doing such. Again, thank you so much!

For those of you who know where we are in light of Bible prophecy, you know it does appear to be a very late hour now.

Yet, there’s still so many not yet saved!

I have always targeted those in the mainstream cults because we know they’re not saved. They usually go under the name of "Christian" yet don’t have salvation correct. My heart really goes out to these people because they’re trying to do things right but have missed the boat. Many Christians look at these poor souls as the enemy but they’re not. They’re victims of the enemy!

But now let’s step it up a notch. What about the vast amount of Moslems in this world? This is a major world religion! They too are trying to get it right but have also missed the boat when it comes to salvation. They too are not the enemy, but victims of the enemy!

Many years ago when the Lord tossed this ministry in my lap, there were so few Christians trying to reach out to the Mormons, Catholics, Jehovah’s Witnesses etc. that it was very difficult to bring those in these groups to the real Jesus and real salvation. It’s still difficult! Mostly due to the apathy of Christians! It seems so many Christians in America have become so selfish that all they want is to go to church, listen to a nice sermon so they’ll be blessed more, listen to Christian music, so they’ll be blessed more, and basically just be in the bless-me club!

Whatever happened to The Great Commission?

Well, as time went on, there were a few Christians who went on doing The Great Commission. They even reached out to those in the cults! As a result, some of those in the cults got saved!

There were books written. Movies made. Some things even got onto Christian radio! This was a slow progress ,but inch by inch, progress was made.

So what about the Moslems? Same thing. It’s been like trying to swim through oatmeal! Or perhaps I should say quicksand, because we’ve lost some along the way. I had a life long friend named Jamma who was raised Moslem. Got saved! He’s now with the Lord.

It seems Satan has strongholds in certain areas as this. And he’s using many including America to keep it this way. Yes, it is the Moslem faith that teaches to annihilate all Christians and Jews. Anyone who is not Moslem. But it’s the worldwide New World Order boys that are using this, in the name of terrorism to establish their New World Order. This is what I call a double whammy. Seems that most true born-again Christians know little about these precious lost souls.

 The following is part of a question-answer period between Ken Ham and Daniel Shayesteh, a Moslem who became a Christian and as such, loves the Lord and loves the lost.

How did you become a Christian?

In Iran I studied and taught philosophy because I had always been interested in other philosophies and religions. Once in Turkey, I had the opportunity to read the Bible and God revealed Himself to me in an amazing way. Through an evangelical church in Turkey, God began a great revolution in my mind and my heart. The people in that church were so good to me and showed me that the God in the Bible is a personal God and you can have a relationship with Him here in this life on earth. All other religions and philosophies have left that for the afterlife. It was amazing, and I gave my heart to Jesus. It was a radical decision and it required a radical change.

Do you get threats on your life?

The biggest death threat is the one written in the Qur’an that says that all Christians, Jews, and other infidels must be killed. But in addition to that, we do from time to time receive threats. Because I am speaking out and revealing the truth about Islam and Mohammed, I am a target. But the God of the Bible is sovereign, and if His eye is on the sparrow, we know that He is watching us, too. Our purpose is not to live safe, comfortable lives, but to live for Jesus and glorify God, whether in life or in death. It is the same for all Christians.

How should Christians respond to Muslims?

Our attitudes and responses to Muslims should get their power from the mission philosophy of Christ in order to touch their hearts:

• Muslims do know that God can save, but they do not know that God can save them now. Neither do they know that God has paid the price for their salvation and has prepared the way through Christ for them to come back to Him (Romans 5:18–19).

• Muslims are sure that God is Almighty, Omnipresent, and He controls everything now and forever, but they do not know that God is also able to give them assurance of salvation now.

• Ironically, Muslims do not know some of the characteristics that are mentioned about Jesus in the Qur’an itself. If they would take a moment and compare the Jesus of the Qur’an with Mohammad they would be shocked and amazed by the supremacy of Jesus.

• All Muslims believe that God must be given first priority. This could help Christians to convince them to open up their minds to learn about God.

• Religion in Islamic language means “the way.” Muslims need to be awakened to the fact that to discover “the way” involves searching with an open mind and open eyes.

• Muslims have not been encouraged to know their own religious Scriptures. In fact, one of the major obstacles that makes it so hard for Muslims to understand the Christian faith is their lack of ability to compare the Qur'an to the Bible.

The reality is that these precious people are dying without Christ, and it is totally up to us, the body of Christ, to share with them the truth of the gospel. We need not to fear them, but to love them.

Have You Witnessed to a Mormon Lately?

I’ll never forget the time I first met Granny Geer. Great granddaughter of John D. Lee who became the scapegoat for the Mountain Meadows Massacre, where the Mormons murdered multitudes of pioneers traveling west to settle. She always wore clothing from the 1800’s and could be found passing out Christian tracks wherever she could.

She appeared in three films: The Cult Explosion, The God-Makers and God- makers II. It was like sitting down and talking with a piece of history.

CRUDE…

Recently on the History Channel they did a two hour special simply entitled: Crude. It was all about oil, its history and its future.

We see now over this last month gas prices have come way down. Well, maybe not “way” down, but down. There’s talk about drilling off shore now. So, is everything going to get better? Cheaper gas?

I’m reminded that in John Wayne’s last film, The Shootest, on the day Wayne decides to die in a shootout rather than from cancer, he makes the comment about it being such a beautiful day. He’s told, “It’s what we call a false spring.” Well, that’s kind of what we see going on now with the oil, except there is no spring to come. The reason gas prices are down is primarily because of the talk about drilling off shore. First of all, it’s just talk so far which is normal during a political time as this. Secondly, there’s absolutely no proof there’s oil there to drill. Which brings me back to The History Channel’s Crude.

Turns out, we haven’t been pulling oil out of the ground all that long! It started here in the United Sates a little over 100 years ago.

So, are we really running out of oil? The skeptic in me has said no. I, like many, had come to believe this is just a ploy to get us to pay more for it.

The History Channel went on talking about oil and gas prices in the 70’s. Specifically, 1973. It spoke of people waiting in line to buy gas at the outrageous price of fifty cents per gallon! Well, this caught my ears because I was one of those people! We thought the prices were so outrageous because it wasn’t that long before then we were paying 25 cents or less!

Turns out, there really was a shortage at that time in this country. This was before we started buying so much oil from the Middle East.

So at that time, an army of geologists started this major study. They wanted to learn when we would actually run out of oil. After this study, they came up with a date. Now keep in mind this study was done in the 70’s. The date they came up with was sometime between the year 2008 to 2010! I found it interesting that they got it so close. We started buying oil from the Middle East which bought us a little more time. However, that time is almost over!

Yes, we really do have an oil problem. We also have a very real global warming problem. In fact, this old planet has more problems than you can shake a stick at! Why? Because just as prophesied, the world is in perplexity. We are living in perilous times!

The good news is… Our blessed hope. The rapture of the Church! Remember, this world is not out home. Our citizenship is in heaven. Even so, come Lord Jesus! (Rev. 22:20)

Got Wind? … Got Sun?

In recent newsletters I’ve been providing information on going solar or wind for alternative energy solutions. I was quite surprised to see how many of you requested the DVD on how to make your own wind generator. Many requests from women! It’s a good thing to go solar or wind in case we experience an EMP causing a major power outage due to nuclear activity. 50 Reasons Why the Rapture’s Close…

There’s so many things taking place so fast in this late hour. Bible prophecy is being fulfilled so quickly now! There are more than 50 reasons why the rapture is close but time limited an exposé I recently aired on this.

As Christians, we have a limited time to bring people to Christ. We may not be around much longer. Yet this is our Great Commission. Telling people where we are in light of Bible prophecy is one of the greatest ways to get people to wake up and realize the importance of getting saved and being serious about it!

Rosh Hashanah Takes Place This Month!

The are seven holidays (or feast days) mentioned in Scripture. Many Bible prophecy teachers believe the rapture of the Church may take place on a Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Feast of Trumps (or Trumpets).

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

(I Thess. 4:16-18)

This year Rosh Hashanah begins on September 29th at sunset Israel time.

Blue man Paul Karason…

On August 19th Prime Time did a special on health. Part of their exposé was with Paul Karason. Just about everyone has heard about the blue man by now. He’s been on different TV specials and magazines and yes, he is blue.

Now it seems whenever Paul is interviewed the medical people are right on top of the story telling people this is what can happen to you, too, if you take Colloidal Silver. This is absolutely not true! At least on Prime Time, Paul was allowed to tell the whole story. Paul did take and still does take Colloidal Silver internally but this never causes your skin to turn blue. Paul was taking another form of silver which was not in a colloidal state. He was also putting this on his face. This changed the pigment of his skin and eventually spread throughout the rest of his body.

You may have seen old paintings of royalty in Europe where their skin had a bluish grey color. This was because they too got silver into their blood from eating foods cooked in real silver pots and pans. Thus the term "bluebloods". This same royalty never caught any of the plagues that swept through Europe.

To date, there has still never been even one documented case that Colloidal Silver has ever turned anyone’s skin blue. However, according to the U.C.L.A. Medical Department, Colloidal Silver killed every virus tested in their lab. Over 650 of them! Colloidal Silver is an essential thing to have in your home and you can make it for pennies per gallon!

The Summer Olympics: One World, One Dream…

It all kicked off on 8-8-08. The Summer World Olympics. Now the actual Olympics hadn’t really started yet. This was just the prelude or “introductory performance” to the whole thing. And what a performance it was! I had never seen anything like this in my life! Thousand of participants! And the fireworks were beyond belief. Actually, much of the performances and fireworks were fake. They were made to look much bigger for TV than they really were. But still, quite impressive.

As I watched this on TV, all I could think of from a biblical view was, vanity, vanity, all is vanity.

Now we know according to Bible prophecy, this world is to establish a one world government including a one world monetary system.

The United Nations, or the "nations of this world united", are screaming out for this very thing! What I found interesting was the official theme for the Summer Olympics: One World, One Dream! California Did It Again…

As if it wasn’t enough to make homosexual marriages legal, they have now passed a law forcing Christian doctors to inseminate lesbian women who wish to have babies! What’s going to happen to California next!

Christians & the Collapsing Dollar…

It’s true! The American dollar is collapsing and many are asking me what to do. I can only speculate but I’m guessing the financial meltdown will have to take place fairly soon because something needs to happen to get the American people to agree with the borders coming down between America, Canada and Mexico, which the last I heard is scheduled sometime in 2010.

Back in May’s newsletter I wrote a basic outline for how to prepare. If you haven’t read it you should be able to find it online in archived newsletters at www.cultivateministries.org

Many are asking me how to invest. What about silver and gold? Jesus told us to set up treasures in heaven rather than on earth. With this, I agree! But I also know many of you are concerned how to get through this financial hurdle. Concerning precious metals, now the Bible has much to say about silver and gold. Also tells us not to trust in uncertain riches. We could die or be raptured next week and everything we’ve accumulated here won’t mean a thing. But at the same time, which is more uncertain, silver and gold? Or paper that no longer has silver and gold to back it up? That’s a no brainer! Yes, silver and gold is much better to have around than paper when it becomes worthless.

Now, I’ve never bought any silver or gold. Wish I could as an insurance to keep this ministry going. But what little comes in here has been barely enough to keep up with the airtime and other ministry expenses. But if you are one of these people who can invest (even if it’s short term to get through the coming financial collapse) I’d say it’s probably a wise thing to do. I’ve been following the market daily on precious metals for some time now. This has not been on the news, but right now may be the best time to invest. For the last five years, silver and gold has dropped during the month of August then climbs again in September. I know a guy who works for Monex, a company that buys and sells precious metals. He is honest and actually told me about this even though he knew he would lose a sale. If you want me to put you in touch with him, call me personally at the ministry number and I can do that. Last month, August, it dropped again, which means it’s very likely to go up again this month. Even if it doesn’t, it’s still much safer than paper. Now when the value of the dollar goes down, the value of silver and gold goes up.

The more the dollar goes down, the more the silver and gold goes up. I don’t think I need to tell you what would happen when the dollar collapses but just in case you don’t get it, silver and gold will skyrocket! I’ve carried an old silver dollar in my pocket for years. I use it as a witnessing tool to tell people where we are in light of Bible prophecy. I used to spend these as a basic dollar but when the government took away silver from our coins, it became worth more. The last I checked, one ounce of silver is worth around $14.00! An ounce of gold which used to be worth $20.00 is now worth about $800.00! But a funny thing about silver and gold. It makes some people lust after it.

I’m reminded about a story a friend told me recently. It’s one of those St. Peter jokes. St. Peter comes to the earth to tell this guy it’s time for him to go to heaven. This man was caught off guard. Hw wasn’t ready to go because he was too busy setting up treasures on earth. He asked St. Peter, well just wait a minute so I can pack my bags. St. Peter tells him he doesn’t need anything from earth. Everything is provided in heaven. Still, this man begs to bring just one suitcase. St. Peter, shaking his head, finally gives in and says, okay, just one suitcase but hurry it up! The man rushes into the next room, grabs a heavy suitcase and comes back out saying, okay, I’m ready to go! A moment later they’re both at the gates of heaven. But there’s a baggage check there! This guy must now show what was so important that he needed to bring this into heaven. The suitcase was opened. Turns out, it was full of gold! St. Peter looks at him, and shaking his head again at him says, Pavement? You brought pavement up here? Our streets have been finished for a long time!

Just thought I’d bring things into perspective here.

Pastor Rick Warren and the Political Arena…

As you may know, Rick Warren, Pastor of Lake Forest Saddleback Church, was picked to act as mediator between presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain.

In their first televised meeting, Rick Warren met with each candidate separately and asked questions about their various stands on issues relating to presidency. Both were asked the same questions, some concerning their biblical views such as, when do you believe life begins. Overall, it looks like Senator McCain won on issues Christians would be concerned about.

However… Why would Rick Warren be picked out for this? Well, he wanted a really big church and he got one. Over 23,000 strong. But with mega churches like this, it’s important to take a look at their background and doctrines. The cult groups are very big yet are not even Christian. This is why Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses ,etc. are not allowed on Christian TV or radio.

But in this late hour of deception, the line has been crossed over into some Christian churches as well. Look at how big Rev. Schuler’s Crystal Cathedral is. Preaching a different gospel of: “You are all wonderful people”. The best selling book in Christian bookstores today is written by Joel Osteen. Both Osteen and Schuler preach the opposite of the Bible’s truth concerning salvation. How to become a better you sounds nice and all but it’s not the Gospel in any way!

Rick Warren is also the author of a best selling book, The Purpose Driven Life. Again, another gospel. A different gospel, a false gospel! One with a mixture of truth with lies.

Both Christians and non-Christians alike have flocked to this as lambs to the slaughter. Those who know God’s Word are not deceived when a book like this comes out but those who do know God’s Word are.

And of course, there’s a much larger picture of deception taking place and Christians are being targeted. We think if we vote for the one who’s pro-life, we’ve made the right choice. How many presidents have come and gone who were pro- life concerning the abortion industry? Nothing has changed! Why? Because of the New World Order’s agenda. All of these world leaders are New World Order boys! A very big part of this agenda is to bring down the population of this planet to about 20% of what it is now! So, who should we vote for? You’ve got to be kidding me! Anyone with that question still doesn’t understand the bigger picture of deception in this late hour.

Now concerning Pastor Rick Warren and why he was pick out to play such a large part in this political arena, you might want to take a closer look at him and his book, The Purpose Driven Life which he has also brought into The Purpose Driven Church.
