Greetings in Jesus!
So here we are in 2005! Can you believe it? For me, 2004 went by pretty fast.
And so much happened last year. I'd like to do a short recap of last year but first I just want
to say THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH to those who renewed getting this newsletter and those who have helped this last public ex-Mormon
with a daily radio broadcast through your prayers as well as your gifts of
support. You guys are the real heroes here and believe me, you are greatly
appreciated!
Now this newsletter was going out to about 350 people. Now, as I look at the stack of envelopes in front of me,
(and I don't have an accurate count at the time of this writing) but it looks like it might be around 100. This tells
me two things.
-
The watchmen for the Church are really dropping off like flies now faster than ever
before...and
-
There are still a few left who have not gotten caught up in the deceitfulness of riches and the
lusts of other things this world has to offer, but still care for the lost. I am also grateful to see there are still some watching and hoping for our blessed hope. The catching
up of the Church. (1st Thess. ch. 4)
Now let's take a short look at a recap of 2004 starting with
a few more well known people that either went home to be with the Lord, or perhaps went home to be with their
father the devil if they had not been born-again.
-
Julia Child...Born 1912 TV Cook Show Host
-
Marlon Brando Born 1924
-
Ray Charles Born 1930
-
Ann Miller Born 1923
-
Fay Wray Born 1907 She was the girl carried by Godzilla
up the Empire State Building.
-
Rodney Dangerfield Born 1921 "Take my wife, PLEASE!"
-
Tony Randall Born 1920 The Odd Couple etc.
-
Yasser Arafat Born 1929 Many are thinking we might establish peace in the Middle East now. Politicians need to understand Bible prophecy.
-
Christopher Reeve or (Superman)
-
Bob Keesan or as some of remember, (Captain Kangaroo)
-
Ronald Ragan Born 1911 What can be said for Ronny. I remember him from Death Valley Days to becoming a
great President. "Mr. Gorbachev, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!"
Unfortunately, I also remember him as being buried on the same day as my sister Jean. By the way,
this was ruled as a heart attack. She was found in a pool of blood with many beating marks upon her head, face and elsewhere. You tell me. Sounds to me like a
typical cover-up by the Mormon church. Mormons are in very strategic areas as law enforcement etc. My sister Jean
was also a rather outspoken ex-Mormon. There are self appointed Mormons who call
themselves the Danites or (destroying angels) who believe the Mormon doctrine
which teaches there are some sins that the blood of Christ can not take away. One of the worst being, leaving the
Mormon church.
There were a number of other things which took place last year to be
remembered as the world goes from bad to worse.
-
Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction at The Super Bowl as 89
million viewers...viewed. Including children! The Jackson family were raised Jehovah's Witnesses.
-
And the terror continues...The gruesome beheadings seen
on the internet of 26 year old Nicholas Berg, A businessman who had gone to Iraq to help rebuild the
country. Also, South Korean Kim Sun III, Americans Eugene Armstrong and Jack Hensley and Britain's Kenneth
Bigley.
And then there were a couple films which made major impacts unto the masses. Michael Moore's film, Fahrenheit 9-11 which almost changed the outcome of the election.
Bush won by 3 million votes. And Mel Gibson's The Passion Of The Christ. Mel spent 30 million dollars of his
own money, and made six hundred million back with millions more in DVD sales and merchandising. The film opened on Ash Wednesday. According to Forbes
Magazine, Gibson made it to #1 in Hollywood. Gibson is a devout Roman Catholic hoping people will return more to
the old school of traditional Roman Catholicism. The film was heavily tainted in Roman Catholicism yet many
Christians who don't know we're supposed to be protestants didn't protest, but instead encouraged people
to go see it and In many cases, bought out entire theaters and invited all they could. While many experienced life changing attitudes toward Christ, they also received a
mixture of truth mixed with error that Roman Catholicism has always done. Makes it hard for those few of us left
which are trying to bring Catholics into a true born-again experience with Christ Jesus.
Then there was also the historic occasion at Fen way Park when the Red Sox won the World Series ending what many called an
86 year curse brought about by the Bambino himself. Babe Ruth. Interesting this took place under an
eclipsing moon. Meanwhile, as so many embrace and love sports stars so much, we learned that many of these
beloved sports stars and heroes have been taking performance drugs!
Also last year, same sex marriages exploded! Hello Sodom and Gomorra!
Then there was that major news item about a man named Scott Peterson who is now facing the death penalty for the murder of his pregnant wife Lacy along with baby Conner.
This was called a double murder because of the unborn child. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of unborn or
partial born babies are still being murdered with a silent scream every year in this country then sold for body parts. Must be just a matter of choice right?
And then there was what is being called a terrible tragedy. This was brought about by the most trusted by almost everyone, the FDA. (Food and Drug Administration) The
pain pill Vioxx was recalled because it increased heart attacks by 70%! Needless to say, that not only in this
case but many others as well, the FDA can not be trusted because it has become a very corrupt institution ruled by money. Yet most will continue to put their trust in the FDA anyway.
And what about the signs in the heavens? Weather. On Christmas day much of Texas was blanketed with snow.
The next day more areas in the South was blanketed. Places that had not seen snow in 10 years! Then the day
after Christmas came that earthquake. The largest in that area in 40
years, 4th largest in 100 years. It caused those huge tidal waves that hit six countries! In Sri Lanka, hundreds of villages were completely wiped out.
Thousands of people swept into the sea. My daughter Tiffany was there not long ago and knew people there.
, And then there was also that which just came out a little earlier in December. This is actually good news. It
concerns DNA. Remember the case with John and Patsy Ramsey and their murdered daughter
Jon Benet? It looks like through the science of DNA, the murderer of Jon
Benet may come to the surface. We may soon see. And the science of DNA will continue to bring out more truth.
Actually, DNA has become a friend of the Church. DNA has now totally disproved evolution as well as the Book of Mormon. It's just a matter of getting this information out more.
SPEAKING OF DNA...
You might remember a few months ago I aired and told you about the amazing new video put out by a small Christian church located in the heart of Mormon land, Brigham City, Utah. It was entitled: DNA vs. The Book of Mormon. While many thinking Mormons have now
discarded the Book of Mormon and have come to the realization that it's only fictional, by the way, because of . the film, many Mormons have now left the
Mormon church and have gotten saved, yet there are some Mormon authorities (as well as individual Mormons) that are either remaining in denial (no matter what) or are trying to
combat the scientific facts of DNA through various excuses. The following are the ten most used arguments against this scientific data. Now keep in mind that
Mormonism is based on the Book of Mormon and that the American Indians existence in
America is due to an Israeli family migrating here thus starting the American Indian
race. This is what the DNA evidence has now disproved.
The DNA Dispute
Addressing the LDS challenges to the DNA evidence facing the Book of Mormon
By Scott Johnson
When the video DNA vs. The Book of Mormon was released in March of 2003
the LDS Church was only beginning to wrestle with the implications of DNA research that posed serious challenges to the historical validity of The Book of Mormon. If the findings and the conclusions of the research are correct, then the entire Mormon belief system is based on a lie. It comes as no surprise, then,
that the LDS Church has scrambled to provide answers to their followers, and
by extension, counter arguments to their detractors.
Because these counter arguments are proliferating, we felt it necessary to
address the more common ones, in order to equip those who are using the DNA
video as a ministry tool, to be able to continue using it with confidence
Some of the counter-arguments come from official sources (e.g, missionaries, bishops, and stake presidents), and
others from LDS academic institutions (e.g., FARMS, FAIR, and BYU) as well as from self-appointed
apologists, such as Jeff Lindsay. The thing to keep in mind is that these are hardly unified
voices; often these differing factions, and their answers to the DNA issue,
directly contradict one another.
The arguments that they put forth are either patently absurd non-sequiturs, or
they invoke a slough of arcane and irrelevant data that might sound scientific,
but really have nothing to do with the issue at hand. They become nothing more
than a smokescreen, designed to confuse. The one thing these counter arguments have in common is that they believe
a belief system in crisis -one that is grasping at straws to come to grips with the devastating evidence against
their foundational scriptures.
Most of these challenges are dealt with either in the DNA video itself, or in the supplementary interview footage on streaming video from scientists such as Dr.
Simon Southerton, Dr David Smith, and Dr. Thomas Murphy (from whom these answers are primarily derived.) This, along with more detailed
information about these challenges can be found on our website, www.mormonchallenge.com
.
The "Top 10" LDS counter-arguments to the DNA challenge are as follows:
-
"God changed the DNA of Native Americans."
This argument is often heard from the official LDS sources; and many Mormons themselves recognize
this as a completely Inadequate response The obvious reaction is,
"Why would God stoop to such trickery?" The argument sometimes tries to justify itself by
saying that when, according to the Book of Mormon, God cursed the
Lamanites with dark skin, that He had to change the DNA structure.
Without getting into the racist implications of this statement, there are numerous examples of people
group's, most notably the Lemba in Southern Africa, who have been positively
Identified (using DNA testing) as having Hebrew ancestry, even though their
skin color and physical features are like those of other African tribes in their
area. Similar examples have been found in Southeast Asia. A change in skin
color or other physical attributes does not hide genetic ancestry.
-
"Archaeology supports the Book of Mormon story."
Such claims tend to be obscure and anecdotal, and come with no authoritative support These
supposed findings often appear a bit like grasping at straws;
nevertheless, they spark a great deal of interest among those trying to prove the Book of Mormon
true. No objective academic institution, however, has identified any Old World or
New World find as supporting of the Book of Mormon account Some have come forth (most notably the Smithsonian Institute) and specifically discredited
the Book of Mormon account from an archaeological perspective. (Check out
www.irr.org/mit/smithson.html
for this statement)
-
"We don't know what Lehi's genes looked like, so how can we presume
to identify his descendants?"
The fact is, if Lehi did exist, then we would know what his genes looked
like -the Book of Mormon dearly states that he was Israelite The genetic testing on Native Americans would have revealed Near
Eastern DNA, which would have included all Semitic peoples- Jews, Israelites,
even Arabs. If the "principal ancestors of the Native
Americans" were truly Lamanites, which according to the Book of Mormon are a remnant of the house
of Israel, then there would, by necessity, be at least some surviving Hebrew or
Semitic DNA in a statistically significant population sample, yet none has been
found.
-
"DNA science isn't sufficiently advanced to make such conclusive
statements."
This argument is ridiculous, especially when you consider the irony that LDS researchers have happily been using genetics in their
genealogical studies for years In many ways, population genetic studies (such
as those done on Native Americans) are more straightforward and reliable than
the genealogical studies, because they examine the non- recombinant mitochondrial and Y
-chromosome DNA, which remain intact and unchanged from generation to generation.
-
"The DNA video does not address that the same science used to refute
the Book of Mormon also challenges the Bible"
This Change-of-venue tactic is hardly a valid defense of the Book of Mormon Nevertheless, the science that disproves the Book of Mormon (population genetics) actually validates the
biblical record; for example, the relatedness of Near East peoples is
clearly established by population genetics studies. Sometimes, this Challenge focuses
on the implications of the timing of the Asian incursions into the American
continent, which many experts place at anywhere between 15,000 and 50,000
years ago. It should be noted that there is a significant degree of disagreement
among experts about the reliability of genetics as a timing device. This being
said, however, it was never the video's purpose or intent to contribute to any
sort of debate over this. The video's main objective was to answer the question
What is the genetic origin of Native Americans?
-
"Living Hope Ministries omitted portions of the interviews that
conflicted with their particular worldview."
Considering that we condensed nearly 20 hours of video footage into a presentation of less than an hour, it only
stands to reason that the vast majority of the interview material did not make it
into the final cut None of the scientists we interviewed have expressed any disagreement with the science or the scientific conclusions in the video. Now,
the gospel presentation at the end of the video is a different story. Some of
them do disagree with the evangelistic intent of the video (though that intent, was made
clear to them from the project's beginning) So, clearly there are differences in worldviews; there has never been any effort to conceal that, or to misrepresent any of the scientists' beliefs or positions.
-
"Haplogroup X demonstrates a genetic connection between Hebrews
and Native Americans."
This is a typical argument that employs a great deal of scientific jargon designed to give an appearance of reason, but actually
backfires when all the facts are made known In simplest terms, haplogroup X is
actually found among populations in north and central Asia, which lends further evidence to support the connection between Native Americans and
Asians. More detailed information on the haplogroup X issue can be found on our
website.
-
"The Book of Mormon story may have only covered a limited geography
and therefore, an isolated group of people that has yet to be identified."
This is a classic FARMS answer, and contradicts the official LDS position, which
is that the Book of Mormon story covers the entire continent, not just an isolated
corner of it. Nevertheless, the argument states that some isolated indigenous
tribe with a Hebrew connection may yet be found. Aside from its contradiction of
official church position and the LDS scriptures themselves, the difficulty with this argument is that it is not an argument at all, but only hopeful and baseless
speculation.
-
"It is impossible to trace DNA through many generations. After a
certain number of generations, the DNA of ancestors becomes diluted beyond recognition."
This statement is untrue for mitochondrial and Y-chromosome DNA.
which are precisely the types that have been used to determine the ancestry of Native Americans. These types of DNA are passed down intact from generation to
generation, unblended, and undiluted. Mitochondrial DNA is passed down
the maternal line, and Y-Chromosome DNA is passed down the paternal
line. The detectable variations are the result of mutations over time,
and not recombination. Since there are a limited number of these variations in mitochondrial and Y-Chromosome DNA strains,
they are ideal for studying population genetics and the origins of people groups.
-
"The Book of Mormon does not exclude the possibility of other
incursions, i.e., of Asians, into the Americas; therefore it is unreasonable
to assume that Native Americans would all have Hebrew DNA."
This argument relies on a certain degree of revisionist history, a common (and
desperate) ploy in reconciling the DNA evidence with the Book of Mormon. The mention of
other populations in the Americas at the time of Lehi's arrival is conspicuously absent from the Book of Mormon, and
other passages imply an uninhabited continent (e.g., 2 Nephi 1:8, "It is wisdom
that this land should be kept as yet from the knowledge of other nations.") Even if we allow for a
previously inhabited continent, the introductory pages of the Book of Mormon specifically state that the
Lamanites are the principal ancestors of Native Americans, and that
they are a remnant of the House of Israel. If one takes the Book of Mormon at face value (as opposed to trying to reinterpret the term
"Lamanite" as some apologists have done), the Hebrew lineage of Native
Americans is at the very least significant, and would certainly be measurable.
Even if there were other populations inhabiting the region, and a blending of the peoples did occur,
There would still have to be some traces of Near Eastern DNA in a statistically significant sample of Native Americans; and yet none has
been found
Some Final Observations
There is overwhelming genetic, biological, arcilaeo-logical, and
anthropological evidence which has failed to produce any evidence whatsoever supporting the
Book of Mormon, and a great deal has contradicted it outright. The video DNA
vs. The Book of Mormon continues to represent an accurate picture of the
consensus of the scientific community at large regarding the origin of Native Americans. The conclusions
vis-à-vis the Book of Mormon have not provoked challenges from any scientific or academic organization outside of the LDS
sphere of influence. In fact, the answers to the scientific and other challenges
that we have provided here come directly from those scientists who are
authorities on the relevant subjects We invite you to check out new video clips
from these scientists (as well as more detailed information about addressing the challenges) by visiting our
website www.mormonchallenge.com
.Many Mormons are conditioned to ignore or reject reason and logic if it comes
into conflict with Church teachings. Many will vehemently defend the Mormon
faith and categorically condemn anything with an opposing view. Some of them,
however, are privately struggling with doubts. Those internal struggles, if they
are allowed to surface as an honest search, can be the very thing that helps
them find truth about their belief system...and more importantly, the truth about
Jesus Christ
If You'd like to obtain the video: DNA vs. The Book of Mormon, it's available
for a gift of any amount. The audio tape as well. And do feel free to show it at your church, fellowship, Bible study Mormon Missionaries, other
individual Mormons, drop off a copy at your local Mormon church, get it aired on TV, other Christian radio stations, or anywhere else you can think of because this
information is bringing lost souls to Christ.

THE DEATH OF A CULT...
Is that even possible? Believe it or not, it happened! This
is something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. But in this late hour, God is doing some really great
stuff. Through various small ministries as this one and a few others by means of perseverance of exposing deception
and the challenging of the cults, a major thing has taken place. Are you ready for this? THE WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF GOD IS NO LONGER A CULT! And it doesn't stop there! Here's what happened. There was so much pressure put
on the Worldwide Church of God to get back to the Bible and Biblical salvation that they finally repented
from what was many years of apostate teachings and have now officially become Christian, Through all my years in
ministry to the cults it has always been reaching out to individual members of a cult group and get them
saved,
Yes, there's been some situations where a Jehovah's Witness got saved and because they had so much
influence within their local kingdom hall that the entire kingdom hall (meeting place) fell apart because so many finally saw the truth and got saved. But this is the first
time an entire cult organization has come back to the truth.
And as I said, it doesn't stop there! The same little Christian church in Brigham City, Utah which started Living Hope Ministries who made the video film: DNA vs. The
Book of Mormon has now made another video film entitled: CALLED TO BE FREE. And what an interesting strategy!
Even though this film deals with The Worldwide Church of God, the film was made to bring Mormons to the real Jesus
and a true salvation experience. Other cults as well! In fact, I can see the possibility of the entire Mormon church doing the same thing as did The Worldwide Church of God
cult group did. Might take a while but maybe not all that long.
Now you know how powerful your own testimony can be. Hopefully many of you used your own testimony of how
you got saved toward unsaved family members during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The following is an article on this new film video on how to
use this tool to bring Mormons as well as other cult groups unto salvation.

The Power of Testimony
Using Called to Be Free as an evangelistic tool
by Joel Kramer
"About noon, O King." cried Paul to an audience that included King Agrippa.
as he began to declare the pivotal encounter that had transformed him from an
enemy of Christ --with his identity as a Pharisee named Saul-- to a servant and
apostle of Christ named Paul.
The powerful effect that Paul's dramatic tale had on King Agrippa is plain to see
when you contrast Agrippa's attitude before and after Paul's testimony in Acts
26 Before: "Agrippa came with great pomp and entered the audience room."
Afterwards: "Agrippa said to Paul, 'Do you think that in such a short time you
can persuade me to be a Christian?'" In answering, Paul reveals the purpose of recounting what had happened to him on the road to Damascus: "Short time or
long," he says, "I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me
today may become what I am, except for these chains"
Living Hope Ministries' new video, Called to be Free, was primarily produced to
equip Christians with another ministry tool to help them more effectively reach
out to the Mormon people. Even so, Called to be Free is not about Mormonism;
rather, it shares the dramatic story of how the Worldwide Church of God was
trans-formed from a cultic organization to one that preaches the true gospel
of salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Our purpose for telling this
miraculous corporate testimony is that more precious people held captive in
cults might be persuaded to embrace the gospel of grace!
What does the Worldwide Church of God have to do with Mormonism?
Thanks to a miracle of God, the answer to the above question today is, nothing! However, before their transformation, there were many notable
similarities. For example, the Worldwide Church of God used to teach
polytheism -that members could become gods themselves. They taught a
works-based salvation, a rejection of the personhood of the Holy Spirit, and a false Christ
These are just a few of the doctrines that it shared with Mormonism. Yet, it is
the foundational identity upon which all of these doctrines rested that is the most intriguing.
The Worldwide Church of God used to teach a theory known as
Anglo-Israelism or British-Israelism. This theory asserts that the Anglo-Saxon people (including
the United States and North America) are descended from the lost tribes of
Israel. The foundational doctrines of the Worldwide Church of God-including
the requirement of keeping the Saturday Sabbath and many other Old Testament Jewish
regulations, rested upon this supposed identity as Israelites. So what happened?
The leadership eventually had to face the facts that science (including DNA
studies), archaeology and history had proven the theory of British Israelism to
be false. This was often called the "central plank" of their belief system, and
when it collapsed, they were faced with a serious identity crisis Once this
identity was shattered, they chose to pursue the truth in the Bible; and in the
end, their identity rested solely in Jesus Christ.
So what does this have to do with Mormonism? As many of you know from our
first video, DNA vs. The Book of Mormon, Mormonism is currently in a similar
place that the Worldwide Church of God once was. They are facing the reality
that the historical claim of the Book of Mormon, which describes how the
American continents were inhabited by Israelites, is just as false as British
Israelism. Native American members of the LDS Church are told that they have
an Israelite identity, but it doesn't stop there. The Anglo members are also given
an identity as Israelites through the common LDS practice known as the
"Patriarchal Blessing" In this ceremony, members are given a blessing, and the
tribe of Israel to which they belong is revealed. Where does this practice have
its roots? British Israelism!
So what's at stake for Mormonism? Just like it was for the Worldwide Church of
God, the entire belief system of the LDS Church is built upon this Israelite
identity as described in the supposedly historical account found in the Book of
Mormon. When an individual LDS member comes to the realization that the
Book of Mormon is not true, it is the 'central plank' that breaks, resulting in an
emotional avalanche, as all that they had held to be true as Mormons in many
cases, for all their lives comes crashing down We have heard from and
ministered to many people who have experienced this crisis with the DNA
evidence. Called to be Free presents a challenge, not only to LDS members,
but also to their leadership, and demonstrates that all cult members, regardless
of status and prestige, have the choice to reject or pursue God's scriptural truth.
DNA vs The Book of Mormon deals with science in order to reason with the
Mormon people, that their foundation does not hold up in light of physical
evidence Called to be Free is saturated with the gospel, which Paul says is "the
power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16). In
God's wisdom, leading and provision, we believe the two videos work well
together to challenge the deception that locks Mormons in bondage and to
proclaim to them the hope of the gospel of grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
For this reason, we offer this new video for the same amount as the DNA video
(and like the DNA video, free to Mormons as well), and we encourage Christians to continue sharing this information with Mormons they know.
The power of personal testimony is remarkable, because it is what Jesus Christ,
our head, has equipped every member of His body with in order to proclaim the difference that He has made in our lives. The testimony presented in Called to
be Free is unique in that it is a corporate testimony, in which dozens of former
cult members share together, in full agreement, how Christ took over their
organization through the Holy Spirit, and revealed the truth to them! And because this is a testimony, it is non-confrontational, and applies to ministry to
all kinds of cults, and it is also an encouragement to believers. More than
anything else, we encourage you to watch it, so that you may understand how it
can be used it in your own witness and outreach. Because of the power of the Worldwide Church of God story, we are confident that you will not be
disappointed!
Called to be Free poses the question: Can it happen again? Because we serve
Jesus Christ, Who created all things, the answer is obviously yes. But we are
confident that whatever Christ does within the leadership of Mormonism and
other cults, that more and more individuals and families will forsake the lies for
the truth and will enter into the freedom from sin and legalism that Christ died to
give us!
If you would like to obtain this new film video: THE POWER OF TESTIMONY, it's available for a gift of any amount this month. And yes, you are encouraged to share it with as
many people as possible. I do plan to air this sometime in January but if you'd like to be one of the first with a copy,
now would be the time to order it. Again, this new video is available for a gift of any amount. If you'd like a copy of
the audio tape of this, same price. Just let me know when you write and do please specify (video or audio).

THE TSUNAMI...ANOTHER LOOK...
Earlier in this newsletter, I reported on that which was known at the time. It had just happened. Now its
Tuesday, Dec. 28th. The Death toll last reported was at 26,000 but I'm sure that by the time you receive this, it
will be much more.
As I watched the latest on the news tonight, there had been much more video coverage. Some from news
reporters but most from tourists with video cameras. All I could do was
weep. I think of my only begotten daughter there not long ago with a Christian group preaching the Gospel in Sri Lanka. (the hardest hit area) And I have to wonder, how many got saved. How many souls got
saved that just died shortly afterwards. And how many weren't saved.
We've seen the survivors in the streets gathering whatever they could to survive another day. A woman holding a scrawny chicken in her hand knowing this
could be her family's last meal. But with no way to cook it. An elderly man being carried but with no place to go. Millions are without a place to stay. No home, no food, no medical supplies, ironically, not even water to drink. And now we're told that sickness may kill as many as did the tsunami.
And then I thought of us Christians here in America. So many of us watched this on the TV news. We sit in chairs with food in our fridge and on our shelves. We observe
and say things like, "Oh what a terrible thing has happened to these people" or "Oh, if they only had a
better warning system" or "I sure hope (THEY) take tare of the situation soon. (whoever THEY is.)
The apathy of the Church is at an all time high. The apathy of the unsaved is much higher.
Now I know that many of us really wish we could do something. Our hearts go out to a situation as this but at the same time, there's not much we can actually do because its so overwhelming and far beyond our means or capabilities. Yet there IS something we can do. Perhaps we are in the situation of silver and gold have I none, but that which I have, give I thee. Sometimes all we have is our prayers. But don't look at this as a small thing.
Prayer changes situations. Prayer coupled with our works is even better. We're told this in the book of James.
(Faith without works is dead) But if all we can do is pray, then indeed, pray.
When the Titanic went down, it was reported how may (souls) were lost. Back then, they recognized the souls of men. We need to do the same today. There were many more souls that were and are still being lost due to this major catastrophe. We need to pray for the salvation of the survivors and that they too will bring many others into a true born-again experience through Jesus Christ.

Ending note...
I got a call a few weeks ago from a young man with a quivering voice. His name is Mark. He and my daughter have been dating for some time know. A nice young man who never even tried to get to second base with Tiffany all this time. They're both virgins. They're in love. I knew this was (THE CALL) to ask me for my blessings. After raking him over the coals a little, I gave him my blessings. Tiffany didn't know about the call. Two days after Christmas she called me to tell me she was engaged. I told her "I know." You might pray The Lord's blessing in their lives. He's an actor. I call him Hollywood. Tiffany actually was asked to please get off the set recently. By Ron Howard! To give away my little girl is not an easy thing to do.
Thanks again ever so much to those of you who pray for and support this ministry. You guys are very special.
Your Because His
Jim
